About Courtney

Hi, I’m Courtney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist + Consultant.

I became a therapist because I deeply believe people deserve to feel at home in their bodies and safe within themselves. So many of the clients I work with have spent years feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that feel impossible to break. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you -  it’s about helping you understand yourself, reconnect with parts of you that have been silenced, and begin to trust your own inner knowing again.

About My Background

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist + Consultant through IAEDP. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and am trained in EMDR and certified in Crisis Prevention. I have experience across all levels of care, including inpatient, residential, and outpatient treatment. In addition to my clinical practice, I provide consultation and supervision to clinicians working with eating disorders and trauma.

  • I specialize in working with teens and adult women navigating trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, perfectionism, body image distress, or the belief that they have to earn rest, worth, or belonging.

If you often feel like you’re “too much,” “not enough,” or constantly at war with yourself,  this is a space where you get to set that down.

  • My approach is relational, collaborative, warm, and grounded in mind-body healing. We move at a pace that feels safe, while also creating lasting change.

Together, we’ll explore the protective parts of you (not judge them), understand what they’ve been trying to do for you, and help your nervous system come back into balance. We’ll slowly replace shame, avoidance, and criticism with curiosity, compassion, and connection.

I integrate use of IFS, CBT-ED, DBT, EMDR, and somatic based interventions to support a holistic approach to healing, not symptom reduction alone.

    • You are not broken.

    • Your symptoms make sense.

    • And you don’t have to navigate this alone.

My role is to support you in becoming more resourced, more regulated, and more connected with the parts of yourself you’ve had to protect for a long time.
